After Covid, Ireland's national airline, Aer Lingus needed to re-build and modernize. As an industry, travel had lost its humanity, leaving passengers feeling like freight. That was our opportunity. Leveraging the brand’s innate Irish warmth and hospitality, we globally re-positioned Aer Lingus as the more human airline. We created a new brand platform with the goal of becoming the world’s most empathetic carrier, expressed as new tagline “You’re very welcome.” With this human-centric platform, we can delve into the stories of every person on every seat. The first story is about a young girl and her family, and the small but intuitive way cabin crew take care of her and make her feel very welcome.
